Sandonia Golf Club

Sandonia Golf Club is one of the fastest growing 9 hole golf courses in gauteng. The club is located near the Roodeplaat Dam, in Kameel Drift East.

Founded by master green keeper Martin Vermeulen and his father local business man, Don Cooper in 1999. There are currently 350 members subscribed to this little jewel in the bush.

Although the course seems a short on the score card, the tight layout makes it a very challenging round of golf. With the big hustle and bustle of today's rushed life style, one often forgets to book a round of golf for the weekend and by friday finds out that no tee times are available at your favorite clubs. At Sandonia Golf Club, you are most likely to get a last minute tee time on weekends everytime.

The course is designed with families and beginners as the primary target market. Low handicap players will enjoy the challenge as the tight fairways and small Bent Grass Greens, don't easily give away rounds below par. Although the greens are small, they run very true and rewards a good put evrytime. It's a course where your accuracy will be tested and one that you will have to think before you pull out the Big Dog!
